Production Worker – Packaging & Powder Coating | Engineering | Shift Work

- Gross hourly wage: €17.55 per hour(€20.62 including all allowances)
- SAO allowance: €0.44 per hour extra on top of your salary
- Shift bonus: 15% when working shifts
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometer
- 13 ADV days
- 8% vacation pay
- Pension through STIPP pension fund, with additional compensation according to the metal-electro scheme
- Payment: choice of weekly or 4-weekly payment, always get your salary on time
- Contract form: temporary contract with prospect of permanent
- Working hours: shifts (one week from 06:00 – 14:45, the other week from 14:30 – 23:00)
- Company cafeteria with inexpensive lunches, ability to heat up your own food and French fries day every Thursday
What will you do?
As a packing and powder coating production worker, you will work with machines and materials in a production environment preparing tubes for stair elevators for transport. You ensure that the tubes are properly packed and powder coated (sprayed with a protective layer). For this you need some technical knowledge, because you need to understand how the materials work and how to properly place them in the oven and machines.
- Hanging metal tubes for powder coating
- Working with furnace to coat pipes and understand proper material handling
- Packing the tubes properly for safe transportation
- Checking the quality of work so that everything is ready for transport on time
- Working with your co-workers to keep the workplace tidy and work safely
Where will you work
You will be working in Krimpen aan den IJssel, at a company that makes stair elevators. This company is a market leader in the stairlift industry. You will help by packing and powder coating metal tubes for stair elevators. You work with a team where everyone helps each other to get everything done right and fast. We work hard, but there is always room for a pleasant working atmosphere. Together you make sure that the stair elevators leave the factory with the highest quality!
Who are you?
You have some technical knowledge, or are eager to learn. You know how to handle materials and understand how certain techniques work (such as powder coating and oven use). You work precisely and ensure that products are neatly and safely ready for transport. You enjoy physical work and are able to work shifts.
- You can work precisely and understand how to properly handle materials
- You have your own transportation and can be at the workplace by 06:00 (for the morning shift)
- You speak good Dutch or English
- You enjoy working in shifts (06:00 to 14:45 one week, 14:30 to 23:00 the next)
