2025 – 40 years of Jelle, 10 years of Moments of Happiness

For forty years we have been making people happy and for ten years we have been creating special Moments of Happiness. This anniversary year we made it extra special with forty fulfilled wishes. Think of warm winter coats for children in need, a magical Efteling overnight stay for a special family and an unforgettable day together with the Brownies & Downies Foundation. Each and every one of these moments shows how great the power of sharing can be.

2024 – Winter wonderland

As the holiday season approaches, we often think back to moments filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Yet not everyone experiences that magic automatically. That’s why we organized an enchanting Winter Wonderland. A place where families came together, could feel the atmosphere and made new precious memories.

2023 – Winter packages

High energy prices brought more and more people towards the poverty line in 2022. That is why Jelle donated winter-proof packages to Food Bank Rotterdam in December. With these packages, families were able to reduce their energy costs and get through the winter a little more comfortably.

We have recorded this initiative step by step and are happy to share the video with you. So you can see how we turn small gestures into big moments of happiness together with the Food Bank. Moments that would certainly support families in a difficult time.

2022 – Brownies and downies

At Jelle’s, we discovered that some members of Brownies and Downies had a big acting dream. Of course we didn’t let that pass us by. We wrote a script, shared the idea and soon the ball started rolling. In the special episode, the members of Brownies and Downies helped us come up with the Lucky Moments of 2020. Several scenarios full of humor emerged, all captured in documentary form. This production was shaped by Inge, who was Jelle’s marketing intern at the time. We are proud that together with Brownies and Downies we could put these talents in the spotlight. A collaboration full of fun, creativity and happy moments that are sure to be remembered.

2020 – Jelle’s chocolate factory

This time Jelle organized an unforgettable day for the employees of Brownies and Downies in Capelle aan den IJssel. The participants were festively picked up in a real Jelle limousine with disco lights and drove together to Olala Chocola in Gouda. There they made their own chocolate mushrooms and enjoyed a cheerful and tasty experience.

The day was all about the magical story of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Of course, our own Willy Wonka and the Oompa Loompas were also present. It was a day full of fun, creativity and moments of happiness that are sure to be cherished.

2019 – Moments of happiness in a song

We are proud to present our own music video: a musical ode to the small moments that are priceless. Happiness is something you make yourself, and that is why we dedicate this special Moment of Happiness to the Jarige Job Foundation – the greatest happiness makers for the little ones.

2018 – The Efteling

This year, together with the elderly of care institution Aafje, we took an enchanting trip to the Efteling. In a beautiful winter landscape full of twinkling lights, snowy pine trees, crackling bonfires and delicious winter delicacies, we enjoyed a day full of magic together.

It was an experience full of warmth and connection, in which we made special memories together. Moments of happiness that will certainly stay with you.

2017 – Willy Wonka

This time we were inspired by the world-famous story of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. We handed out hundreds of chocolate bars to people who work with and for Jelle. A golden ticket was hidden in a number of bars: the ticket to a special moment of happiness. Small surprises that are sure to have brought big smiles.

2016 – Lucky moments especially for our own heroes

This year we did it especially for our own flex workers. We listened to their stories, paid attention to their dreams and made a long-held wish come true. A moment that not only surprised, but also showed that sharing happiness is bound to make a difference.

2015 – Where it began:

Moments of happiness for people who need it The first edition of Moments of Happiness was immediately a special one. Jelle challenged himself to create moments of happiness in the Netherlands, especially for people who needed it extra badly. Small gestures with a big effect, because it is precisely those moments that bring warmth and connection.

All the moments of happiness from this first edition have been collected and recorded in a film. A look back full of beautiful memories that shows how Moments of Happiness started and why we continue to do this with so much pleasure every year since.
