Production Team Leader | Cookie and Waffle Factory | 3-shift schedule

- Gross monthly salary: €3,000 – €3,700
- Shift allowance: 38% allowance after 6 p.m. & 39% allowance at night. For Saturday morning a 50% surcharge.
- Contract: permanent (secondment or recruitment & selection)
- Work week: 36 hours in 3 shifts

What will you do?
Imagine this: you start your shift and walk into the factory. The smell of freshly baked cookies and waffles meets you. Your shift is ready and you briefly go over the schedule. Then you divide up the tasks and make sure everyone knows what needs to be done.
During the shift, you are constantly visible on the floor. You walk along the production lines, talk to colleagues and keep an eye on whether everything is running smoothly. Is there a malfunction or is a line behind? You quickly switch gears, redistribute the work and ensure that production continues. Meanwhile, you pay attention to quality, safety and the atmosphere in your team.
You are not only the leader, but also the coach. You address people when necessary, but also give compliments and help colleagues grow in their work.
Your duties:
- Managing a team of about 20 employees
- Distribute work and check that schedules are met
- Ensuring quality, safety and good cooperation
- Identify problems and solve them with your team
- Liaise with the production manager and technical department
- Coaching, mentoring and addressing colleagues as needed
Where will you work
You will be working in a modern bakery in Moordrecht. Here large quantities of cookies, waffles, syrup waffles and cakes are made every day. These products go to well-known supermarkets and are on the shelves there under their own brand.
In your team, operators, production workers and packers work together to make sure production runs smoothly. You are the one who makes sure everyone knows what needs to be done, that the atmosphere remains good and that goals are met.
It is a dynamic environment: no day is the same, but together with your team you will ensure a streamlined process and top quality products.
Who are you?
You are a manager who stands in the middle of the team. You dare to make decisions, but you also listen carefully to your people. You keep an overview, even when it’s busy, and make sure everyone knows what needs to be done.
Furthermore, you have:
- Minimum MBO-4 working and thinking level
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Technical understanding is a plus
- Good communication in Dutch (English is nice)
- Characteristics such as reliable, results-oriented and committed
