Production Worker | Powder Coating | Shift Work

- Gross hourly wage: €17.55 per hour(€20.62 including all allowances)
- SAO allowance: €0.44 per hour extra on top of your salary
- Shift bonus: 15% when working shifts
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometer
- 13 ADV days
- 8% vacation pay
- Pension through STIPP pension fund, with additional compensation according to the metal-electro scheme
- Payment: choice of weekly or 4-weekly payment, always get your salary on time
- Contract form: temporary contract with prospect of permanent
- Working hours: shifts (one week from 06:00 – 14:45, the other week from 14:30 – 23:00)
- Company cafeteria with inexpensive lunches, ability to heat up your own food and French fries day every Thursday
What will you do?
As a production worker in this department, you will work with a team in a production environment preparing tubes for stair elevators. This is physical work because you hang the tubes in the machines. They are then sprayed so they get a protective coating that makes them stronger and protects them from rust. Then you package the tubes so they are ready for further use or transportation.
- Hanging metal tubes in machines
- Powder coating (applying a protective layer so the tubes don’t rust)
- Packaging the tubes after they are coated
- Ensuring tubes are quickly and neatly ready for transport or further production
- Collaborate with co-workers to get everything done on time and keep the workplace tidy
Where will you work
You will be working in Krimpen aan den IJssel, at a company that makes stair elevators. Stairlifts help people who have difficulty climbing stairs. This company makes stair elevators that are custom made especially for each customer. You will help by hanging the metal tubes for stair elevators, spraying them with a protective coating (so they become stronger) and packing them. You will work in a fun and hardworking team, where everyone helps each other to get the job done. Together you make sure that the stair elevators leave the factory on time and of high quality!
Who are you?
You enjoy working with your hands and have no problem with heavy work. You enjoy working in a team and love hard work. You like working shifts because you always know when you are working and have time off.
- You are physically strong and can handle heavy work well
- You are flexible and can work well in shifts (06:00 to 14:45 one week, 14:30 to 23:00 the next)
- You have your own transportation and can be at the workplace by 6 a.m.
- You speak good Dutch or English
