What will you do?
As a production worker at the port, you’ll work alongside your colleagues handling large barrels of fruit juice. You’ll have an active, physically demanding job that involves a lot of movement and regular use of your strength. You’ll be kept busy all day long and, together with your colleagues, ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Your duties will include:
- Transferring fruit juice from large tanks to smaller barrels
- Fill the containers and seal them tightly
- Moving barrels and putting them in the right place
- Working Together to Ensure a Clean and Safe Workplace
- Moving the barrels makes this physically demanding work. That’s why it’s important that you’re physically strong and can handle heavy work well. That way, you’ll know in advance what the job requires of you.
Where will you work
You work in the port of Rotterdam, a busy area where large quantities of fruit juice are received and processed every day. You and your colleagues make sure the barrels are safely filled, sealed and get to the right place. The work is hard, but you always work with others who help you and with whom you do it together. It is a no-nonsense work environment where everyone supports each other.
Who are you?
You like hard work and have the strength to do heavy work. You work well with others and tackle tasks independently. You have:
- Physical strength and perseverance
- You like to work hard and keep on working
- You speak Dutch
- Experience in production is nice, but motivation is most important
- You work safely and make sure everything goes well
- You are fine with working outside regularly
