- Gross monthly salary: €3,000 – €3,700
- Shift allowance: 38% allowance after 6 p.m. & 39% allowance at night. For Saturday morning a 50% surcharge.
- Contract: permanent (secondment or recruitment & selection)
- Work week: 36 hours in 3 shifts

What will you do?
Picture this: it’s Monday morning and your shift is ready to start. You walk onto the floor, discuss the schedule and distribute the work. During the shift, you are a visible presence: you walk along the lines, help colleagues on their way and check whether production is going according to schedule. Is there a problem with a machine or is the planning running late? You switch gears quickly, redistribute the work and make sure everyone knows what needs to be done.
As team leader, you will manage a team of about 20 colleagues. You are responsible for the entire process: from dough making and baking to packing and internal transport. You will not only look at the numbers, but also at quality, safety and cooperation in your team.
Your duties:
- Daily leadership of your team (± 20 colleagues)
- Distribute work and ensure schedule is met
- Keeping an eye on quality, safety and production numbers
- Identify problems and solve them with your team
- Consult with production manager and technical department on improvements
- Address, coach and mentor colleagues as needed
Where will you work
You will work at Biscuit International in Bergambacht, the specialist in syrup waffles and cookies. Syrup waffles have been baked in this factory according to authentic recipes since 1888. Nowadays production is largely automated, but quality and teamwork are still key. You will be managing in an informal and committed work environment, where your efforts immediately make a difference
Who are you?
You enjoy being in the middle of the plant and working close to your people. You are visible, approachable and take responsibility. You dare to make decisions, but you also know how to get people on board.
Furthermore, you have:
- Minimum MBO-4 working and thinking level (preferably supplemented by courses or experience)
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean or process improvement is nice to have
- Good communication in Dutch, English is a plus
- Characteristics such as clear, reliable and result-oriented
