(Assistant) Recruitment Manager

Are you an experienced recruiter with natural leadership skills? Someone who gets energy from making colleagues better, providing structure and still fully participates in the recruitment process? Then this is your moment. At Jelle we are looking for an (Assistant) Recruitment Manager – the right hand of the Commercial Manager and the stable factor within the recruitment team.
In this role, you will combine operational decisiveness with coaching leadership. Approximately 70% of your time you will be actively working as a Recruitment Consultant. The other 30% you will support the Commercial Manager in managing and guiding the team.
You are the go-to person for Recruitment Consultants, ensure the quality of the process, and make sure everyone can perform at their best.
This means:
As a Recruitment Consultant (±50%)
- Candidate lists fills with qualified professionals.
- Actively recruits and selects flex workers.
- Conducts intakes and determines the best match.
- Conducts reference research and carefully supervises candidates.
- Working closely with Sales on open positions and suitable candidates.
- Flexworker satisfaction measures and actively contributes to sustainable placements.
- Personnel files processed in a timely and structured manner.
- Identifies and prevents disability whenever possible.
- Generate Leads for Sales.
As an (Assistant) Recruitment Manager (±50%)
- Provides day-to-day support to Recruitment Consultants on operational issues.
- Oversees the execution and quality of the recruitment and selection process.
- Induct and supervise new Recruitment Consultants.
- Acts as a replacement for the Commercial Manager in his absence.
- Provides input on performance and development points within the team.
- Ensures proper coordination with Sales and other departments.
You manage indirectly, but your influence is directly felt. You ensure that processes run smoothly, people grow and results are achieved. You understand that recruitment is a team sport – and you are the one who keeps an overview and works on the field.
In this role, you will be given responsibility, confidence and space to help build the further professionalization of recruitment within Jelle.
