Assembly Worker | Engineering | Day Shift

- Gross hourly wage: €17.55 per hour (€20.41 including all allowances)
- SAO allowance: €0.23 per hour extra on top of your salary
- Shift bonus: 15% when working shifts
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometer
- 13 ADV days
- 8% vacation pay
- Pension through STIPP pension fund, with additional compensation according to the metal-electro scheme
- Payment: choice of weekly or 4-weekly payment, always get your salary on time
- Contract form: temporary contract with prospect of permanent
- Working hours: shifts (one week from 06:00 – 14:45, the other week from 14:30 – 23:00)
- Company cafeteria with inexpensive lunches, ability to heat up your own food and French fries day every Thursday
What will you do?
As an assembly worker, you work with parts of stair elevators. You put them together step by step with screws and tools, a bit like you do with an IKEA manual. Together with your colleagues you make sure everything is solid and neatly put together.
- Installing parts of stair elevators
- Working with technical drawings (manual-like)
- Checking quality of your work
- Working with colleagues in the workshop
- Keeping your workplace neat and safe
Where will you work
You will be working at a large technical company in Krimpen aan den IJssel. This company makes stair elevators that help people get up and down stairs safely. You will help by neatly assembling the parts. You will work together with colleagues who like to get to work and consider quality important. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and friendly: together we make sure the work gets done well.
Who are you?
You are practical and handy with odd jobs. Perhaps you have no experience in a factory or workshop, but you enjoy putting things together and would like to learn this trade.
- You are handy with screws and tools
- You can read and follow a drawing, just like a construction drawing of furniture
- You work carefully and neatly
- You speak good Dutch
- You are available full-time on the morning shift
- You can be on location by 6 a.m. (own transportation required)
