What will you do?
As a New Business Account Manager at Jelle, you’ll be responsible for expanding our client portfolio. You’ll actively target new companies and identify commercial opportunities.
You’ll reach out to prospects by phone, schedule appointments, and discuss their staffing needs with companies. By asking the right questions, you’ll gain insight into their needs and advise them on a suitable solution.
You are responsible for the commercial process from the initial contact through to the point at which a partnership is established. In doing so, you work closely with the recruitment team. As soon as a client has a job opening or staffing need, you work together to ensure that the right candidates are presented.
Your duties will include:
- Reach out to new companies and schedule meetings
- Conducting sales calls and in-person sales meetings
- Identify and follow up on new business opportunities
- Identify HR issues and advise clients
- Discuss and follow up on quotes and commercial proposals
- Visiting Prospects and Customers
- Building and further developing new customer relationships
- Working with recruiters to fill job openings
- Record leads, appointments, and follow-up actions in the CRM system

We operate in sectors such as manufacturing and logistics, and we work with both small and medium-sized businesses and larger organizations in the region.

Who are you?
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a sales position
- Experience in the temporary staffing industry is a plus
- You have proven experience with telephone sales and approaching new customers
- You get a boost of energy from bringing in new business and building new customer relationships
- You naturally reach for the phone and reach out to prospects
- You are able to turn phone calls into appointments and concrete business opportunities
- You work in a structured manner using a sales funnel and consistently follow up on leads
- You handle resistance and rejection well and continue to follow up in a professional manner
- You work independently and take responsibility for your own sales activities and results
- You communicate easily with a variety of people
- You have a Class B driver’s license and are willing to visit prospects and customers on a regular basis
